The School of Music presents the 56th Annual Marshall University Winter Jazz Festival,  featuring Guest Artist, David Smith, a Joan C. Edwards Distinguished Professor in the Arts.

The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, February 26, 7:30 p.m.: The Morehead State University Jazz Ensemble and  the Jewel City Jazz Orchestra

Thursday, February 27,  6:00 p.m.: MU Jazz Combo I and the David Smith Quartet.

Friday, February 28, 6:00 p.m.: The Thundering Herd All-Star Jazz Ensemble, the  MU Jazz Ensemble I, featuring David Smith. Also featuring performances from regional middle and high school jazz ensembles throughout each day.

All performances will be in Smith Recital Hall and are free and open to all.
