Bestselling author and presidential historian Jon Meacham is coming to Marshall University Friday, Nov. 10, for two events presented by the Marshall Artists Series. 

From 4-5 p.m. Nov. 10, Marshall President Brad D. Smith will moderate a discussion with Meacham at the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse. This event is open to Marshall students, who can attend for free with their Marshall ID. 

At 7:30 p.m., the Marshall Artists Series presents An Evening with Jon Meacham in the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse. The event is open to all. Tickets are available at the playhouse or online at at https://www.marshall.edu/muartistseries/#/.

Meacham is author of No. 1 bestsellers about Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, George H.W. Bush and John Lewis.

Marshall students can receive one free ticket each with their MU ID. Tickets are available at the Joan C. Edwards Playhouse box office from noon to 4 p.m. weekdays.
