 nparalleled teaching and learning experience with our most motivated and h
 igh-achieving students.\n\nWhy Teach an HON 480 Seminar?\n\n· Explore You
 r Passion: Seize the opportunity to delve into topics that ignite your int
 ellectual curiosity and passion. This is your chance to design a course th
 at might not fit into a standard curriculum but is close to your heart and
  expertise.\n\n· Academic Exploration: Enjoy the liberty to explore and e
 xpand upon a unique subject matter deeply rooted in your scholarly interes
 ts\, venturing outside what might be the limits of your regular teaching d
 uties.\n\n· Interdisciplinary Adventure: Lead students through an interdi
 sciplinary journey\, cultivating curiosity and enhancing their critical th
 inking and problem-solving skills.\n\n· Collaborative and Supportive Envi

 eaching in honors education by offering the opportunity to apply for the J
 ohn Marshall University Scholars Award trough the Honors College. Faculty 
 who are deeply committed to making an impact through their seminar are enc
 ouraged to apply for an Honors Faculty Fellow position\, offering a promin
 ent pathway for additional recognition and development.\n\nDeadline and De
 tails:\n\n· Proposal Submission Deadline: Tuesday\, January 23\, 2024.\n\
 n· Earliest Teaching Opportunity for Approved Applications: Fall 2024 sem
 ester.\n\n· How to Submit: Visit the Teaching Honors page on the Honors C
 ollege website for full details\, submission guidance\, and access to the 
 appropriate online form. New proposals require the most preparation. Repea
 t applications are brief.\n\n· Review Process: Proposals are evaluated by
  the Honors College Curriculum and Policy Committee. Accepted proposals wi
 ll be developed into special topic sections of HON 480\, a core upper-divi
 sion course in our required Honors Curriculum.\n\n· Credit for Your Depar
 tment: All Student Credit Hours (SCH) from HON courses are credited to you
 r home department and college.\n\nWhether you have taught with us before o
 r are new to the Honors College experience\, we welcome your ideas for cou
