Three Marshall University campus leaders will trade their offices for the dunk tank Friday, Sept. 4, as Dance Thunder hosts Splash-A-Thon on the Memorial Student Center West Lawn.

The event will give members of the Marshall community the opportunity to dunk Student Body President Alissa Davis at noon, Student Body Vice President Jimmy John Jacob at 2 p.m. and Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life Chase Stewart at 3:30 p.m.

Participants may purchase one throw for $2, five throws for $8 or 10 throws for $15. Those who do not want to leave the dunk to chance may purchase a guaranteed dunk for $20.

Proceeds from Splash-A-Thon will strengthen Dance Thunder’s year-round fundraising, advocacy and community engagement initiatives. These efforts allow the student-led organization to continue advancing its mission of supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

Held during Dance Thunder’s Month of Gold, Splash-A-Thon offers the Marshall community a fun and memorable way to rally behind an important cause.
