About this Event
This year’s event will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The trail will begin in East Hall, where students will pick up their free treat bag and trail map listing all the campus stops where they can collect candy and goodies. Each stop along the trail will feature a participating campus office or organization that has signed up to be part of the fun.
This event grown into a beloved campus-wide tradition open to all students, faculty and staff.
A few event highlights:
Trail Start East Hall: – pick up your treat bag and map.
New Stop: Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead): Hosted by Dr. Monica Brooks in the Drinko Library, this stop will honor the vibrant Mexican tradition that celebrates and remembers loved ones who have passed. Students can learn more about the meaning of the day and make cute crafts to take home.
New Stop: Pumpkin Launch on Buskirk Field: The Marshall Mechanical Engineering Society will showcase a trebuchet (a type of catapult) and launch pumpkins throughout the day as part of the festivities!
Costumes: Costumes are definitely encouraged for everyone; it adds to the festive atmosphere!
Participation: Students are welcome to stop by to collect candy and enjoy the trail; offices and organizations will be passing out treats.
