Mountaineer Mile Movement Comes to Marshall

Join the first families of Marshall University, Marshall Health Network and the City of Huntington as we bring WV Governor Patrick Morrisey's Mountaineer Mile to Huntington! This movement is a statewide initiative encouraging all West Virginians to take the first step toward better health.

Meet at the Ritter Park Fountain. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.; the one-mile walk kicks off at Noon. Registration is free. Sign up at https://events.marshall.edu/event/marshall-mile or by calling 304.691.1700.

In order to take care of each other, we must first take care of ourselves. By walking one mile together on Friday, May 16, we will kickstart Marshall University's Community Cares Weekand share an activity that can inspire lasting healthy habits in our communities. 

We encourage all Marshall University faculty, staff and students; Marshall Health Network employees; and community members from across the greater Huntington area to join us.
