he School of Music presents "Processions," a recital and masterclass featuring guest artist Élider DiPaula.
A piano solo recital, "Processions," will be Saturday, Sept 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Smith Recital Hall, featuring works by Debussy, Villa-Lobos, Lecuona, Gottschalk, Bach-Busoni, Scriabin, and Liszt.
A master class for Marshall students will be Sunday, Sept. 8 at 3:00 p.m. in Smith Recital Hall.
Both events are free and open to the public
Brazilian pianist Élider DiPaula is well-known as an accomplished classical musician, composer and pedagogue. He won the Orestes Farinello NationaSepl Piano Competition at age 7 and has received numerous accolades since.
