Only one course is required for faculty to obtain the QM endorsement to teach online (100% online or e-course) or hybrid courses (virtual, technology-enhanced, or hyflex). Every three (3) years, faculty must re-certify their Quality Matters endorsement with one course. 

Use the QM Rubric to review your own courses and develop a course improvement plan. Bring course content to class so you can practice on your own materials. The “Improving Your Online Course” workshop explores the QM Rubric and provides a framework to improve the quality of online courses. The content is based on the essential Specific Review Standards of the Quality Matters Rubric. Participants come away with a plan for course improvement, so enrolling in the workshop with a pre-developed online course is recommended.
