Please join us at The Visual Arts Center on Thursday, February 22 5:30 p.m. for a student panel and reception featuring a selection of students who have recently travelled abroad through the Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS), of which Marshall University is a full member. 

Mostra D'Arte presents a slice of Italy through the experience of four study abroad students Sophia Gillispie, Sophie Kelley, Morgan Napier, and Callie Thacker. This collection celebrates the immense culture and profound artistic influence of Florence and Rome, serving as a testament of both historical exploration and creative inspiration.

The panel will begin at 5:30 p.m. in 103C of the Visual Arts Center with a reception to follow in the Pneumatic Gallery to continue the conversation until 7:00 p.m.

Mostra D'Arte will be on view in the Pneumatic Gallery February 13^th though the 23^rd.

The Visual Arts Center is home to three rotating art galleries, The Charles W. & Norma C. Carroll Gallery, The Birke Art Gallery, and the Pneumatic Gallery.

Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. 

Gallery admittance and events are free and open to all.
